Finding and Using Open Images
Did you know that the majority of openly licenced materials are images? This workshop is an overview of how to find open images, how to use open images in teaching, and how to advise students on proper use of Creative Commons images in web projects. We will touch on finding open access images in several subject areas, how to cite images, and how to use images you find on the web under other copyright exceptions for your teaching.
This workshop is facilitated by Ann Ludbrook and Sally Wilson, Ryerson University Library. The Ryerson Library Collaboratory is on the 3rd floor of the Library, accessible via the SLC.
