Post-operative Patient Information for Home Recovery

This material was developed and evaluated based on an extensive empirical literature review.

This individualized patient education is not meant to answer questions concerning current medical treatments. Please consult your physician or the appropriate health care provider for answers to these questions.

The education you are about to receive is meant to provide you with the necessary information that will help you to be able to perform your routine activities during your home recovery following Coronary Artery Bypass Graft and/or Valve Replacement Surgery.

This information will assist you in performing your routine activities during your home recovery period as was discussed with you while you were in the hospital.
