Project Title: SingWell Project
Project Description:
The SingWell Project explores group singing as a meaningful social activity for people living with communication challenges (CC), with the potential to support communication function. More information about the project is available here: www.singwell.ca
RA Position Duties and Resposibilities
(Include Interaction with Research Team Members, Supervisory Arrangements):
The RA will work closely with the PI (Frank Russo) and Co-Director (Arla Good) in coordinating research activities for this international research initiative. Duties will also include assistance with organization of annual research meeting, coordination with stakeholders, knowledge dissemination, and support of project management duties.

Research Experience and Opportunites Offered RA:
The RA will help support a major international research study involving multiple test sites where we will investigate the effect of group singing in older adults on social wellbeing as well as communication outcomes including but not limited to speech perception in noise. The RA will develop skills in project management, salivary cortisol analysis, psychological assessment including mood, depression and anxiety.
