Project Title: Urban Sanctuary, Migrant Solidarity, and Hospitality in Global Perspective
Project Description:
The Urban Sanctuary, Migrant Solidarity, and Hospitality in Global Perspective partnership brings dozens of academics and partner organizations to co-develop and share evidence-based knowledge related to the policies and practices of accommodating vulnerable and precarious migrants and refugees in major urban centres in Africa, Europe, North America, and Latin America. Our objectives include advancing theoretical knowledge and practical understanding related to urban sanctuary, solidarity, and hospitality towards vulnerable migrants and refugees in the global north and south.
RA Position Duties and Resposibilities
(Include Interaction with Research Team Members, Supervisory Arrangements):

The Work Study Research Assistant will work with the Research Project Director and the Research Project Manager on a range of tasks, including (but not limited to): • Managing communication and developing communication tools, developing social media strategy, and updating website. • Editorial work e.g., organizing academic literature, formatting texts and bibliographies, developing and editing blog posts. • Help organize knowledge dissemination activities related to the research project. • Events organizing and management. • Engage in knowledge mobilization.
